Today is national delurking day!

I have a tracker on my blog so I can see locations and how people found my blog.  For example, if you do a google search on something like "walking to China", my blog may come up.  But I don't know anything more than that!
So who are you?  How'd you find the blog?  Do you think our foster son is the cutest thing ever and you want to adopt him?  (Seriously:).  What have you learned about China?  Anything you want to say.
Remember, it's delurking day..not stroke my ego day!  I want to know who you are.

I found your blog b/c I followed a link you left somewhere else! I DO think your foster son is the cutest little man and KNOW the perfect forever family is just waiting for him. Am I a lurker? I guess, since I've never commented here before. I do LOVE your updates though and am always enjoying your perspectives to help the rest of the world understand more about a culture that is not easily understood. Thank you!

I'm not a lurker, but HI! You know my scoop.

I can't remember exactly how I found you, unfortunately; I followed a link on someone else's blog but cant remember whose! Yes, your little guy is utterly adorable, and watching him thrive in your loving care is a gift-- I keep thinking what a treasure it will be for him and his forever family some day to know how he was loved, and have some memory and record of his early days! Oh, how I wish my son, adopted from Shenyang in 2005, had had that!

I can't remember how I found you, maybe through Women of the Harvest blog? I'm an Australian serving as a missionary in Japan, but I think you know that.

I think it is amazing how much people from very different countries, working in very different countries have in common.

I haven't been following your blog all that long, so I'm not sure how much I've learned about China. We're with OMF which used to be China Inland Mission, so through mission-required reading know a bit about China.

BC days (before children) I trained as an OT, so I'm fascinated by the posts that relate to Allied Health services and your foster son.

...you just want people to leave comments (like we all do), but have found a clever way to get people to do that! ;-)

Hi, I'm not a lurker because I have commented before.

I found your blog likely on Coffeegirl Confessions, although it may have been a link from somewhere else, too.

Right now, I'm a tired mom of four kids with sore muscles because I have been attempting to get in shape. :)

not sure exactly how i got your blog address, probably from a mutual friend in SY... I LOVE reading about and seeing pictures of Yuan Bao and am continually lifting up him, you all as you care for him, and his future. And I enjoy the cultural anecdotes especially when i'm missing China.

hi sandra, I am one of the lurkers
Your proud mom gave me your blog and I have been enjoying it very much. Specially the cute little baby. In my opinion you should keep him. He gives you so much joy.
you and your family are doing a great job. keep it up.

Ah, Tante Ineke, I wish we could keep him. But we are over the age requirements and thus looking for a younger family. We do love him to pieces though!

I think that I found your blog through a link on the "No Hands But Our blog" about a month ago. Your blog is now one of my favorites! I enjoy reading about your experiences living as Americans in China and of course, seeing photos and reading updates about your foster baby. I have my hands full with my young son, but seeing your baby, makes me want to adopt another. He is such a pumpkin, and I hope that he will be adopted by a forever family who will love him to pieces- like you do!

I come here... and I comment now and then but I always enjoy your insights and photos!

I'm not even sure how I came across your blog, it was one of those strange searches when you click on something completely irrelevant...but I'm glad I did! It's fascinating to see the experiences of someone living in a culture so different to the West, and the story of your foster son has really caught at my heart. I hope his family find him soon, although I don't know how you'll manage to give him up!

How many people do you have coming in from Taiwan? Also, what tracker do you use and how do you like it? The one on my blog is quite limited...

I met your blog through my mom, even though I don't remember you well myself! I started reading about the time I moved to Taiwan since I thought you might have some helpful insights. It's fun to follow your exploits!

You know I come by, but I found you through Stefanie at Ni Hao Y'all. Can't remember if she cross posted something of yours on the No Hands But Ours site or on hers, but I've been reading (and praying for your little guy) ever since!

First time I've visited your blog, through ni hao y'all, and I'm completely fascinated by your experiences. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the amazingly unexpected things that will happen for the little guy.

I thought I had commented on this post before. Not sure where it went.

I love reading your blog. I love to read about Yuan Bao. I have a special interest because my children came in to my heart and home by adoption. I also have a very good friend whose children are adopted and her youngest son has Down's syndrome.

God Bless you all in your work in China.

I am pretty sure I found your blog from Sunday Snapshot.
I have commented and emailed you before as I love getting a small glimpse of your life in China. Our family would love to serve in China some time in our future.
I would SO LOVE to bring your precious little boy into our family. Unfortunately, we are still paying on the expenses from our last adoption.
Unless, somebody has a big pile of money laying around that they would like to send our way. :)
I do pray for him often and praise the lord for the love and care that he is receiving from your family.

I found your lovely blog on nihao y'all. I've now read every post and am cheering you and your family on! ♥

I found your blog through a comment you left on Wendy's blog. I live in Australia and have never been to China, but we do see a few students from China in our city. Thanks for sharing your perspective :-)

I came here after you left a comment on my advocacy blog about your sweet baby! Praying for a family for him! In fact, doing more than that! I contacted a friend who would LOVE to adopt a little guy just like him. :)

Sandy said...

Oh yay, Sharon! My e-mail is in my blogger profile.

My name is Katie, and you and I met at a cookie exchange in SY over a year ago. I don't remember how I happened upon your blog though. We're home in the states (Minnesota) for 3 months and will be returning to SY next month. I wish my family had more opportunities to meet you all, but we live way up on the north side. When we're in China, our block-get-around makes it look like we're in Switzerland, so if you see that someone from there lurks, it could be me right across town. :)

Sandy said...

Sure, Katie! I remember that and I know who you are! Hopefully we'll meet up again when you get back to SY.

Hi! Sorry I'm late but thought I'd delurk. I found you through Emerging Mummy (who I found through another friend's blog) when you became foster parents! I teach English in Laos and have been lifting you all up from here!

I found your blog by following a link when you left a comment on Jimmie's. We live in China too.

Dear Friend, I'm just catching up on your Dec., Jan. and Feb. posts after the busy winter here. I love reading about Elisabeth and Sweet Boy. I can't wait to see you this summer!

I'm a lurker. I actually found your blog through a China adoption advocacy blog I beleive. I volunteer with an organization that works with orphans in China and have adopted myself. Your foster son is adorable and I like to read about anyone's adventures living in China. Something I'd like to try in my future!
Thanks for sharing!
